Business Studies is a dynamic subject which gives students an insight into the world beyond the classroom. Business courses look at all parts of the business world, such as investigating Marketing, Finance and Human Resources. The courses on offer currently are:

Young Enterprise Scheme Winners
Here students take part in setting up a business, designing their own product and selling it to the public For the last four years, we have been winners in Best Product etc. in the London heats of the competition and we have the trophies to prove it!

Educational Visits
Business students have been on trips to Paris and have visited a number of companies. Guest speakers come in and talk to the students to give them an insight into the real business world.

Lessons
Students take part in presentations and other activities that help to improve their confidence. Their communication and organisational skills improve and they become confident at working as part of a team and studying individually.

ICT
We use ICT on all our courses and students become proficient ICT users. We impress on them the importance of taking pride in the presentation of their work, which is displayed in the Department.
