Saatchi Gallery/ SundayTelegraph Arts Prize for Schools

We are delighted to announce that we have won second prize in this prestigious international schools competition with a photographic work by Ghan Chansuwan from  Year 13 . The shortlisted work from was drawn from 20 schools out of an entry of over 2000 schools is on display at the Saatchi Gallery through December 2009. The judging panel consisted of artists Antony Gormley and Peter Blake, The Sunday Telegraph's art critic Andrew Graham-Dixon, Ekow Eshun, the artistic director of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, and Camila Batmanghelidjh, CEO of Kids Company.

The winners are announced in the Sunday Telegraph on 29 November.

We have won £5000 towards our art provision and Ghan has won £1000 towards art materials.

We are very proud of Ghan and all the staff who contributed to us gaining recognition with such an important award.
