There were lots of smiling faces as students queued up to accept their places in Brentside High School's sixth form and confirm their courses for the start of term.
Headteacher Arwel Jones was delighted with the results and said this was down to the dedication of his staff and the hard work of our students. He went on to say that in this Olympic year, each and every member of the school community involved in making this outstanding set of results a reality deserves a gold medal!
A Welcome from the Head Teacher Arwel Jones.

"Brentside High School is an exciting and vibrant learning community, where I am privileged to lead a team of dedicated staff who are committed to all aspects of your child's education.
The School provides a well ordered, happy learning environment, which will secure the highest possible standards of achievement for all, through an appropriate curriculum that prepares our diverse student intake for the responsibilities of adult life.
Your child will benefit greatly from a new purpose-built school which we opened in September 2004. The scheme is based around 3 main buildings - Expressive Arts, Education Hubs and Dining, Assembly and Games plus external sports pitches. These are arranged along a ''street'' which acts both as a social gathering area for the School and an entrance way to both the educational and the community facilities.
Within the School, I will ensure that the important role played by Information and Communications Technology in education today will be met with a significant financial commitment in state-of-the-art equipment. I am proud to have the role of leading this school in the 21st century and I am confident that after visiting this website and visiting us you will share my view."
